Cai Be is “village-town”, located between road No1 and the great Mekong River, that offers many eco-tours. It is known for its dense vegetation, arroyos and hectic floating market. A beguiling stopover in the heart of the Mekong Delta.
Cai Be is the capital of tropical fruits: bananas, pineapples, papayas, longans, rambutans, mangos and potatoes ... The arroyos naturally water the orchards.
Less famous than Can Tho, the floating market of Cai Be has only thirty cargo boats. At dawn, the city traders gather to stock up fruits and transport them to Saigon by truck. If you have never seen a floating market, it is worth the visit.
3. Ba Kiet ancient house
It is an ancient house built in 1838 passed on for four generations. A large fruit garden offers tropical fruits tasting for free. The owners prepare delicious homemade meals.

70 years old, Mr. Hai My is the eldest brother of his family.
