This one day trip to Tay Ninh and Cu Chi allows you to learn about Caodaism, a particular Vietnamese religion, while discovering the architecture of its magnificent temple. Cu Chi was one of the most famous battlefields of the Vietnam War. Visitors will better understand the life of the Viet Cong guerrillas under American bombing.
- Traces of the Vietnam War between 1954 and 1975
- Cadaism, a particular religion of Vietnam
- The architecture of Caodaism temples
In the morning, the guide takes you to Cu Chi to visit the famous tunnels that were used during the war by Viet Cong fighters to hide during the fighting, but also as communication routes, food reserves, armory, even hospitals ... real neighborhoods ! Transfer to Tay Ninh to visit a Caodaist temple. Very colorful and one of a kind, this temple is the center of Caodaism in Vietnam. You will have the opportunity to participate in a religious ceremony which takes place every day at noon. Return to Saigon in the afternoon.
Caodaism - or renewed Buddhism - borrows a lot from Buddhism, particularly the doctrine of reincarnation, but it also owes it to Taoism, Confucianism, and Christianity. On the other hand, it is related to spiritualism and theosophy.
